Out to Lunch - Downtown DSM

Out to Lunch is a public event that is open to the public on Wednesdays throughout the summer from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Out to lunch is designed to create a fun and unique opportunity for Downtown Des Moines employees, residents, and visitors to socialize with others in a vibrant, outdoor Downtown setting with local food trucks and live music.

The 2026 Out to Lunch location schedule is as follows:
May 13: Principal, High Street from Seventh to Ninth
May 20: Cowles Commons – 313 Walnut Street
May 27: 12th Street from Grand to Locust
June 3: 12th Street from Grand to Locust
June 10: 12th Street from Locust to Walnut
June 27: 7th Street from Grand to Locust
