Out to Lunch - Downtown DSM

Out to Lunch is a public event that is open to the public on Wednesdays throughout the summer from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Out to lunch is designed to create a fun and unique opportunity for Downtown Des Moines employees, residents, and visitors to socialize with others in a vibrant, outdoor Downtown setting with local food trucks and live music.

The 2023 Out to Lunch location schedule is as follows:
May 17: Principal, High Street from Seventh – Ninth
May 24: City of Des Moines, 401 Robert D. Ray Road
May 31: Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield, 12th Street from Grand to Locust
June 7: Federal Home Loan Bank, FHLB parking lot
June 14: Tippie College of Business | University of Iowa 12th Street from Grand to Locust
June 21: Knapp Properties & The Weitz Company parking lot – off Fourth Street between Park Street and Watson Powell Jr. Way
June 28: Nationwide, 12th Street from Grand to Locust
